Is no word really progress?

Is no word really progress? A common question for us now is this: "So . . . Have you heard anything?" or . . . "What's the latest?" Right now we cannot answer those questions. We don't know. No, we haven't heard anything. Sure, that can be discouraging at times, but it can be encouraging as well.

Is no word really progress? Even though we haven't received any updates from our caseworker, God is still at work. God is ALWAYS at work! He never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121). In God's perfect timing He will reveal to us His perfect placement for our adoption. I am looking forward to the day when I can hear the case worker's side of our adoption story. For instance, an adoptive couple shared their story with us at our October 14th adoption meeting. It is amazing all that God did in their adoption journey, and they had no idea until the placement was made.

Is no word really progress? YES! Adoption is like a puzzle. There are so many pieces all over the place, and one by one God puts those pieces together to form one AMAZING piece of art! That's worth waiting to see!
