From Dark to Bright

How can a seemingly dark day quickly transform into a vividly bright day? Encouragement! Encouragement comes in many forms: hugs, written and spoken words, prayers, God's Word, and sometimes others just being present (even if no words are spoken). When I asked Eric what has encouraged him most during this process, he replied: "People telling us they are praying for us - it always comes at the most needed times." We have had some seemingly dark days throughout our adoption process, but God has transformed those times into vividly bright days through His provisions of peace and encouragement.

Eric and I have been blessed by encouragement in many ways:
- blog comments
- facebook comments and messages
- cards
- prayers and notification of prayers
- presence of loved ones
- God's financial provisions through friends and family
- listening ears of friends and family
- testimonies of God at work in the lives of others
- reading the Bible

Thank you to everyone who has offered us encouragement! Even those reading this blog are an encouragement through support shown by following our story! You never know how what you do is impacting the lives of others - thanks for impacting ours!
