- September 3, 2010: Local Background Checks, FBI fingerprints
- September 10, 2010: GBI Criminal Background Checks
- October 9, 2010: 1st Fundraiser - yard sale
- Possible adoption date changed so paperwork put off until 2011
- February 6, 2011: Home Study Application Submitted
- February 11, 2011: 2nd Fundraiser - Premier Jewelry Party (Thanks Kim and all those who made purchases!)
- February 1-25, 2011: 3rd Fundraiser - Thirty-One Gifts Catalog Show (Thanks Ashley and all those who made purchases!)
- February 12, 2011: 1st Home Study Visit 
- February 12-26, 2011: Home Study Paperwork to Complete
- February 22, 2011: Physicals for home study
- February 23, 2011: New local criminal background checks and GBI (state) fingerprinting
- February 24, 2011: 2nd Home Study Visit 
- February 25, 2011: Back to doctor to pick up physical forms and have TB tests checked; picked up local background checks
- February 26, 2011: 3rd Home Study Visit  
- March 10, 2011: Received the news that our home study was approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- March 11, 2011: Paperwork sent off to the USCIS (immigration paperwork for orphan immigration approval - will take approximately 5 weeks to process and return to us) 
- March 15, 2011: Applied for our first adoption grant; registered to host Princess #1 and Princess #2 again for the summer (3rd hosting visit)
- March 17, 2011: Blog and puzzle fundraiser launched 
- March 24, 2011: Blood work completed; received bad news from the orphanage
- March 26, 2011: Interview for a grant (Promise 686)
- March 28, 2011: Confirmation of bad news received - (this adoption door has been closed - now seeking the next step that God would have us take); USCIS documents received - appointments in Atlanta scheduled for April 
- April 11, 2011: Erin's USCIS biometrics appointment 
- April 14, 2011: Additional confirmation of closed adoption door
- April 22, 2011: Eric's USCIS biometrics appointment 
- May 2011: USCIS approval (good for 3 years) and began research other adoption agencies and options
- May 4, 2011: Heard about Covenant Care Services from the Cassidys
- May 17, 2011: Received our Domestic Home Study and finished our Covenant Care Services pre-application
- May 18, 2011: Mailed our pre-application and home study to Covenant Care Services
- May 19, 2011: Covenant Care Services received our application
- May 20, 2011: We received confirmation email from Covenant Care Services letting us know that our application was received and that we should be receiving another email within three weeks letting us know when our pre-application is processed.
- May 25, 2011: Approved for a matching grant (Promise 686)!
- June 10, 2011: Covenant Care application approved!
- August 19, 2011: Covenant Care mandatory meeting in Macon - met our caseworker!
- August 26, 2011: Meeting at our home with our new caseworker!
- October 3-4, 2011: Support letters mailed out!
- October 14, 2011: 2nd and last mandatory Covenant Care meeting in Macon - our 7 portfolios were turned in!!!!!
- October 25, 2011: Received word that our $1,300 portfolio viewing fee was received.
- October 26, 2011: Our portfolios were distributed to the 7 Covenant Care birth mom caseworkers. THIS MEANS BIRTH MOMS WILL NOW HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT US! This is what we have been working towards. Now the real waiting begins. :) We are now officially paper pregnant again!!!!!!
- May 31, 2012: Medicals completed for our home study update
- June 20, 2012: Home study update
- August 28, 2012: Case worker home visit to add our exchange student to our adoption paperwork
- November 21, 2012: Emailed our international case worker about updating our home study to pursue a Ukrainian adoption again 
- November 25, 2012: Completed an updated international adoption home study application to pursue Ukrainian adoption again (at the same time as our domestic adoption - still waiting on that)
- November 28, 2012: Submitted our updated international adoption home study application
- December 11, 2012: International home study update meeting
- December 18, 2012: Domestic adoption placement call from Covenant Care!!!!!!
- December 21, 2012: Received our international home study update and mailed our USCIS document update forms (because there was a free update with a Dec. 24th deadline)
- December 21, 2012: On our way to Macon for our son's placement when we got the call that the placement date was moved due to birth mom reservations
- December 22, 2012: Our placement finally came!!!! Eli came home with us!
- January 22, 2012: 1st adoption post-placement meeting 
- February/March 2012: 2nd adoption post-placement meeting
- January 2014: Confirmation from God about next adoption 
- April 2014: Notified of new caseworker and started working with Covenant Care again; doctor visits
- May 13, 2014: Home study update and portfolios submitted to case worker
- May 22, 2014: Portfolios distributed to birth mom caseworkers but won't be shown until all paperwork is finalized
- May and June 2014: Paperwork finished
- June 26, 2014: Home study update received!!!!
- June 30, 2014: Promise686 Grant Application submitted 
- August 6, 2014: Notified that we are finally on the waiting list! Paper Pregnant!!!!
- August 12, 2014: Notified that Promise686 awarded us a matching grant!!!
- January 19, 2015: Contacted by caseworker to consider a certain situation and to update our child preference form
- January 20, 2015: Notified that we had been matched with a birthmother and told that the birthmother wanted to meet with us that Friday!
- January 21, 2015: Our "daughter" was born!
- January 22, 2015: Notified that the birthmother decided to parent. Back on the waiting list.
- April 1, 2015: Notified that we had been matched with a birthmother and told that the birthmother wanted to meet with us that next Thursday!
